Basis Industrial is proud to announce that Daniel Weinstein, founder and chairman of the advisory board, has been recognized in Florida Trend's 2026 Florida 500, an annual publication highlighting influential business leaders across the state.
Weinstein co-founded Basis Industrial in 2021, helping establish the company as a growing owner and operator of multi-tenant industrial and self-storage real estate. Since its founding, Basis Industrial has expanded its national footprint, growing its portfolio to more than 10 million square feet across key markets throughout the United States.
As founder and chairman of the advisory board, Weinstein continues to contribute to the company's long-term strategy and investment decisions. He also serves as a member of Basis Industrial's investment committee, working alongside the company's leadership team to identify opportunities and support continued expansion.
Building a National Industrial Real Estate Platform
Under Weinstein's leadership, Basis Industrial established a foundation for growth through strategic acquisitions, development and a focus on multi-tenant industrial properties serving small and mid-sized businesses.
In 2026, Basis Industrial continued its national expansion, completing more than $234 million in industrial acquisitions across the Atlanta and Orlando markets through its partnership with One Investment Management (OneIM). These transactions added approximately 1.46 million square feet to the company's portfolio and further strengthened its presence across the Southeast.
The company also continued expanding its self-storage development platform while strengthening its executive leadership team, with Anthony Scavo assuming the role of CEO and managing partner and Nisha Patel joining as chief operating officer.
Today, Basis Industrial owns more than 10 million square feet of self-storage and multi-tenant industrial real estate across key markets nationwide. As founder and chairman of the advisory board, Weinstein continues to contribute to the company's long-term investment strategy and growth.
Commitment to Community Involvement
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Weinstein is committed to supporting organizations that make a difference in the community.
He is a supporter of Love Serving Autism, a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic racquet sports instruction for children with autism and developmental disabilities. His involvement reflects a continued commitment to creating opportunities and supporting meaningful initiatives beyond the commercial real estate industry.
Continued Recognition and Growth
Weinstein's inclusion in the 2026 Florida 500 adds to a year of recognition for Basis Industrial and its leadership team. The company was named among South Florida Business Journal's fastest-growing companies for the fourth consecutive year, while members of its executive team received individual honors from leading commercial real estate publications.
As Basis Industrial continues expanding its national portfolio, Weinstein remains involved in shaping the company's long-term direction and supporting its continued growth.
Basis Industrial congratulates Daniel on this recognition and his contributions to the company's success.
