Awards

At Basis Industrial, we are proud to share that we have once again been recognized on the South Florida Business Journal’s Fast 50 list of the region’s fastest-growing private companies with revenue over $25 million.

This year, we ranked No. 4 on the 2025 Fastest-Growing Companies list, following our No. 1 ranking in 2023 and No. 3 ranking in 2024. Earning a top spot for three consecutive years highlights our sustained growth, strategic investments and commitment to delivering best-in-class multi-tenant industrial and flex real estate nationwide.

We are honored to be recognized alongside other leading companies driving South Florida’s economic growth, including top-ranked Equiturn Holdings, ABA Centers, Vitana Pediatric and Orthodontic Partners, MGM Construction Group and Claro Insurance. This year’s list highlights the diverse industries shaping the region, from healthcare and construction to insurance and finance, showcasing the strength and momentum across South Florida’s business community.

Three Years of Growth and Momentum

When we first appeared on the Fast 50 list in 2023, we were in the middle of significant expansion. Since then, our team has worked hard to build on that momentum. We have entered new high-growth markets across Texas and Alabama, expanded in South Florida and along the East Coast, diversified our portfolio through Basis Alternative Investments and strengthened our property management platform, BaySpace, to enhance service for tenants while maintaining a disciplined approach to acquisitions and development.

In August 2024, Basis Industrial acquired three commercial assets across Texas and Florida totaling more than 1.1 million square feet, including multi-tenant industrial properties in Dallas/Fort Worth and a business park in St. Petersburg, Florida. In mid-2025, we also opened a regional hub in Texas operated under BaySpace, our in-house property management arm.

The Strategy Behind the Growth

For investors and partners, this recognition underscores the strength of our industrial real estate investment strategy. Basis Industrial focuses on under-managed small-bay and flex industrial properties, a sector with consistent demand and limited institutional competition. By targeting high-potential assets in key markets and leveraging operational expertise through BaySpace, our property management arm, we have been able to unlock long-term value while delivering superior service for tenants and steady returns for investors.

Our vertically integrated model and BaySpace platform allow us to provide flexible, well-located industrial spaces that meet the needs of a wide range of businesses while creating long-term value for investors and the communities we serve.

Our disciplined acquisition model ensures we balance aggressive growth with operational excellence, giving us a competitive edge as we continue to scale our portfolio nationally. This combination of strategic investments, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on management is what positions Basis Industrial as a leading name in the small-bay and flex industrial real estate sector.

What This Recognition Means to Us

This recognition represents more than numbers on a list. It reflects the dedication of our team, the trust of our partners and investors and the relationships we have built in every community where we operate. Each acquisition, project and milestone is driven by our commitment to creating long-term value and delivering spaces that meet the needs of today’s businesses.

For our tenants, this growth means access to well-managed, strategically located industrial spaces. For our investors, it demonstrates a disciplined approach to scaling a resilient portfolio. And for our employees and future recruits, it signals a company with momentum, stability, and long-term vision in the industrial real estate sector.

Looking Ahead

While we are proud of this achievement, we are even more excited about the road ahead. With more than 5 million square feet of self-storage and industrial real estate owned, another 2 million to 3 million square feet expected by the end of the year, and a pipeline on track to surpass 7 million square feet by early 2026, we remain focused on strategic growth, operational excellence and the principles that have guided us since the beginning.

Our continued expansion through strategic acquisitions and the establishment of operational hubs in key markets will position Basis Industrial to serve tenants and investors even more effectively in the years to come.

This recognition ultimately reflects more than just growth metrics. It speaks to the disciplined way Basis Industrial approaches every acquisition, the resilience of our vertically integrated model across changing market conditions and the long-term strategy that guides our expansion. Year after year, earning a top spot on this list underscores that our investments, our operations and our vision are aligned to create lasting value for our tenants, investors, employees and the communities we serve.
