Basis Industrial has once again been recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as one of South Florida’s fastest-growing private companies, marking the fourth consecutive year the company has earned a place among the region’s top-performing businesses.
The 2026 Fastest-Growing Companies Awards recognize privately held companies headquartered in South Florida that have demonstrated significant revenue growth over a two-year period. Basis Industrial was recognized in the category for companies with more than $25 million in annual revenue.
This year’s recognition places Basis Industrial alongside some of South Florida’s most established and recognizable businesses, including Warren Henry Auto Group, Coastal Construction Group, International Finance Bank, Murgado Automotive Group and NAI Miami | Fort Lauderdale.
For Basis Industrial, the continued recognition reflects several years of strategic expansion across its industrial and self-storage portfolio.
That momentum has continued throughout 2026.
Earlier this year, Basis Industrial completed a $144.6 million acquisition of an approximately 839,000-square-foot multi-tenant industrial portfolio spanning Atlanta and Orlando. Completed in partnership with One Investment Management (OneIM), the transaction expanded Basis Industrial’s presence in Central Florida while establishing significant scale in the Atlanta market.
Basis Industrial followed that transaction with another major Atlanta-area acquisition in May, acquiring a 621,759-square-foot, 25-building multi-tenant industrial portfolio across Stone Mountain and Tucker, Georgia, for $89.475 million. Together, the two transactions added approximately 1.46 million square feet to the company’s portfolio and represented more than $234 million in acquisition volume.
The company has also continued investing in its development platform. In Wayne, New Jersey, Basis Industrial is developing an approximately 85,000-square-foot self-storage facility that will include 586 units, further expanding the company’s presence in the Northeast.
Basis Industrial’s growth has extended beyond acquisitions and development. In 2026, the company strengthened its executive leadership structure, with Anthony Scavo assuming the role of CEO and managing partner and Nisha Patel joining the company as chief operating officer. The expanded leadership team is designed to support Basis Industrial’s continued national growth while strengthening operational execution across its portfolio.
Today, Basis Industrial owns more than 10 million square feet of self-storage and multi-tenant industrial real estate, with an additional 2 million to 3 million square feet expected by the end of 2026. Active markets include Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Alabama, Massachusetts, Michigan and select urban markets nationwide.
In total, Basis Industrial’s sponsors have developed and managed more than 30 million square feet of real estate assets across self-storage, industrial, retail, office and residential. BaySpace serves as the property management arm of Basis Industrial.
Being named among South Florida’s fastest-growing companies for a fourth consecutive year reflects Basis Industrial’s continued expansion and the company’s disciplined approach to identifying opportunities, investing in high-demand markets and building long-term value across its portfolio.
